Young Rider: Jöbstl and Bodyguard set the standard

After the team competition on Saturday, the duo Florentina Jöbstl and Bodyguard 49 also won the individual event. Once again, the pair delivered a performance above the 70-percent mark, earning a score of 71.519 percent. “I think we really found our rhythm again today – the canter was good, the trot was dynamic, and overall it was a harmonious test. There’s always room for improvement – for me, it’s about riding with even more precision: hitting the lines exactly, keeping the tour size consistent, executing the pirouette at the right moment,” said the happy winner. “I feel well-prepared, but you can never guarantee perfection – still, this weekend has given me a lot of confidence for the upcoming competitions.”

The day before, Fanny Jöbstl took second place with Elastico, and on Sunday she finished third. With a score of 69.853 percent, she was narrowly beaten by Germany’s Capri-Marie Raum with Echt Stark 3 (69.902%). “It’s really cool that we get to experience all of this as a family – with my sister and brother,” said Florentina Jöbstl. “We support each other, which makes everything easier and even more emotional.”
