A successful start to the dressage weekend in the idyllic Schlossparkvierck at Schloss Achleiten. On time at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, in perfect conditions, a total of 11 rider-horse pairings started the first test. In the Young Riders Team Test, OEPS Talent Team member Felicita Simoncic and her 10-year-old gelding Immowert's Ivar came out on top with a score of 74.118 percent. Felix Artner, who competed with two horses in the first competition of the day, took second place with Auheim's Divinie Etincelle with 69.294 percent. Corina Gebhard was just ahead in the race for third place and completed the top three with Bellagio 16 and 68.824 percent.
"I am very satisfied today. We are slowly but surely getting back on track after a difficult winter and are approaching last year's level. There are still some parts of the test where I have to support him and we have to work on them together. But I am very satisfied today, especially since it was our Personal Best today. Tomorrow I have to hold him better on the hind leg in the traversal and stay calmer in the walk. But we built up a good feeling today, and we want to continue that tomorrow," Simoncic explained after the award ceremony.
