After finishing runner-up the previous day, Lea-Elisabeth Pointinger took the next step on the second day of the CDI Achleiten (CDI3*), claiming victory in the FEI Intermediate II – Prize of Hentschläger Bau GmbH. Partnering her long-time mare Francesca de Medici, the Lower Austrian rider produced a harmonious and expressive test to score 68.706%, once again bringing the Austrian national anthem to the prize-giving ceremony in the picturesque Schloss Achleiten arena.

The penultimate class of the day turned into a clear success for Pointinger. Following her second-place finish in Friday's Intermediate A, the Austrian rider delivered an even stronger performance with Francesca de Medici and deservedly took the win ahead of Germany's Yara Reichert aboard Special Diva 3 (63.853%), who opted not to compete with Force Majeure, the winner of Saturday's class. The prizes were presented by event organiser and multiple Olympian Victoria Max-Theurer.

"I'm incredibly happy with her. She was fantastic to ride today. I think she feels just as comfortable here as we riders do. The conditions are simply outstanding, and you can really see that in the performances of both the horses and the riders. She stayed completely focused, and I think we managed to improve from yesterday by riding with a little more confidence and taking a bit more risk. I'm truly happy and incredibly proud of her. She's my heart horse, and we've been on this journey together for many years. That makes it even more special to have developed all the way to this level as a partnership," said a delighted Pointinger after her victory.
