One victory and two podium places for Austria

First international victory for Upper Austrian Anna-Katharina Schwarzlmüller at the CDIJ in Achleiten! The 17-year-old ABZ Lambach student and her mare Sansita recommended themselves for the European Championships in Oliva (ESP, July 5-11) in the FEI Juniors Individual with 70.912 percent.

"Over 70 percent is a milestone for us," Schwarzlmüller said happily at the award ceremony. "We were both already more relaxed in the arena today, it's easier when you already know the surroundings a bit.“


The previous day's winner Natalia Plata (POL) with Dolcetto had to take the place behind the Austrian with a score of 67.706.


Third place in the female juniors’ final (14 to 18 years) went to Austria with Helena Hillebrand and Hope and Glory (65.0). "We've only been a team for a month and it was our first international tournament, so there's a lot to learn. He is an ambitious bundle of energy, an athlete, you still have to bundle the energy. But we're not putting any pressure on ourselves and we're taking a lot with us from here," said the 17-year-old high school student from Salzburg.

In the final of the young rider category (18 to 21 years), Polish rider Aurelia von Mauberg won again with Diamo Dream and 70.147 percent. Behind her, two Austrian young hopeful athletes again made it into the top-3.Im Finale der Young Rider-Kategorie (18 bis 21 Jahre) siegte erneut die Polin Aurelia von Mauberg mit Diamo Dream und 70,147 Prozent. Dahinter schafften wieder zwei österreichische Nachwuchshoffnungen den Sprung unter die Top-3.

Christian Schumach’s student Felix Artner and Auheim's Divine Etincelle, third on the previous day, took second place this time with 68.824 percent. Lower Austrian Elena Erbstein also improved by one place on Saturday to third with Larifari and 68.627 percent.


Felix Artner, self-critical, “We were able to get more points out of the canter today, but we still have a lot of room for improvement with regard to the European Championships.“

19-year-old Elena Erbstein from Wiener Neustadt also sees room for improvement for herself and Larifari in their first year in the young rider category, “It was a nice riding experience, but we were probably a bit too shy again. We are slowly growing with the task. It was after all only our second international show at this level. But we’ve shown development and that is important to me!“
