The Prix St. Georg was a sure thing for Laura Strobel. The German, who competes with many horses in the various classes this weekend, confidently took first place with 11-year-old Villeneuve with 75.970 percent. But that's not all, the 30-year-old also took second place with Diamond OF Eternity GV (71.647 percent). Gloria Vacek and Quantiliano completed the podium as third with 68.765 percent.
“It was a strenuous day today, but you only realize that at the end. Thank God I can always adapt quickly to the horses. I'm always well adjusted in my head and can then implement it quickly. With Villeneuve, today was probably our best St. Georg we've ever had. There are only small things that can be improved. In the evening I will analyze my day and think it through in peace", Strobel drew a positive balance.
