Louboutin 8 and Mombach Shine in the Five-Year-Old

In the Preliminary Test for five-year-old horses, Ricarda Mombach (GER) and Louboutin 8 delivered an outstanding performance to take victory with 86.400% (walk 7.8, trot 9.0, canter 8.4, submission 9.0, perspective 9.0). Laura Strobel (GER) and Villazon Royal MT finished second on 78.600%, while Barbara Sutter (AUT) and Blind Date SB claimed third with 78.400%.

Mombach was delighted with her test: “Louboutin gives you an incredible feeling from the very first stride. Riding in such a beautiful setting makes it even more enjoyable. His trot work was a real highlight today, and I was also very pleased with the canter. I expected him to perform well, but I honestly didn’t expect him to be this good today.”

Mombach has trained the talented five-year-old since he was three years old and particularly values his attitude towards work. “He is a very light-footed horse who always wants to please his rider. He is incredibly willing to learn and genuinely enjoys his work. That’s exactly what makes working with him every day so special.”
