Stefan Lehfellner continued his remarkable winning streak at Schloss Achleiten on Sunday. Riding the 11-year-old L’Espoir, the Austrian claimed victory in the FEI Grand Prix Special – Prize of Bauleistungen Pschernig GmbH at CDI Achleiten II (CDI3)*, remaining unbeaten in all four CDI3* classes held across the two Achleiten events in 2026. Germany’s Lisa Müller finished second with her home-produced mare Gut Wettlkam’s Raffinesse, while Spain’s Pablo Gomez Molina and Baltasar de YMAS completed the podium in third.

Nine international combinations contested the FEI Grand Prix Special on the final day of CDI Achleiten II, the penultimate class of the competition. Once again, Lehfellner and L’Espoir impressed with a harmonious and expressive performance, confirming their outstanding form. Honorary prizes were presented by Ing. Aigner Wasser-Wärme-Umwelt, the winner’s rug was donated by Outfitmacher GmbH, while Röwer & Rüb GmbH provided additional prizes.

“Four CDI3* starts in Achleiten and four victories – that’s a record I’m obviously very happy with. I was really pleased with today’s test. We improved several aspects, even though another small mistake crept in. At the moment we’re still losing valuable marks in the walk because ‘Leo’ can get a little too eager. That’s exactly what we’ll be focusing on over the coming weeks. This weekend once again showed the tremendous potential this horse has for the future,” said Olympic rider and local favourite Stefan Lehfellner.

Second-placed Lisa Müller was equally pleased with her performance. “My mare is developing exactly the way we hoped. She used to be very eager, but she now competes with much more confidence and composure. Of course, mistakes can happen, but she always gives everything. I was especially happy with our piaffe-passage tour at the beginning of the test. Going forward, it’s mainly about improving straightness and making the flying changes more consistent. Achleiten is a fixed date in my calendar every year. The conditions are outstanding, the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, and you can really feel how much passion goes into organising this event. That’s why I always enjoy coming back.”
