Jöbstl and Elastico secure another victory

In the FEI Young Riders Team Test, the third class of the second day at the international dressage tournament (CDI4*) at Schloss Achleiten, Fanny Jöbstl (AUT) and Elastico topped the field of six combinations. The Austrian rider won with a score of 68.853%, ahead of Katharina Zajic (AUT) and Fidelio (68.030%) and Maria Teresa Pohl (GER) with Annamira (67.588%).

Jöbstl was pleased with her performance despite seeing room for improvement. “We had many very good moments in the test, but unfortunately also a few avoidable mistakes. Of course, there is always something you can do better. We know what we need to work on and will focus on that,” said the winner. She was particularly happy with her horse’s trot work.

Jöbstl has been partnered with Elastico since last year and is very satisfied with their development as a combination. “We have improved continuously and have been very consistent in all our tests this season,” she said. The victory in Achleiten was especially meaningful for the Austrian rider: “The conditions here are simply wonderful. We are very grateful to compete at such a beautiful show.”
