Flying Dancer OLD from Elisabeth Max-Theurer's stable defied heavy rain on his debut in the Medium Tour.
On Saturday morning at the CDI4* in Achleiten, Laura Strobel presented Flying Dancer OLD for the first time in the Intermediaire II of the Medium Tour. The duo from the stable of host Elisabeth Max-Theurer beat Erin Nichols (USA) with Kind Pleasure (64.971%) and Olga Safronova (POL) with Leo (62.088%) with a score of 69.324%.
Strobel breathed a sigh of relief after the test: “He is actually a huge horse with a rabbit's heart. He is very fearful, and even though he has been here a hundred times, everything is terrible for him. And then I just thought, great, the most sensitive horse is here in the heavy rain. It was also his first international competition at the three-star level, because he has always ridden the small tour before, and he really fought his way through it bravely.”
