Florentina Jöbstl celebrates double victory

In the best conditions and bright sunshine, a total of 11 riders and horses completed the first test. In the Junior Team Test, Florentina Jöbstl and the Hanoverian stallion Bodyguard 49 came out on top after a convincing performance with 73.485 percent. But that is not enough. The 17-year-old Styrian also impressively demonstrated her skills with Floortje. In the end, the duo was rated 72.152 percent and took second place. The Hungarian Lilla completed the top 3 with Bonjour Majlund and 70.454 percent.

“I'm very satisfied with both laps, even if I was very nervous. Bottom line, it worked well, but we still have room to improve. The two horses are so different that you can't even compare them. But I have to say that I have a really good feeling on both,” reported Florentina Jöbstl after the award ceremony. Her brother Paul has been very successful with Bodyguard in recent years and has now left it to his younger sister. “I put a lot of pressure on myself, especially during the first stages. Bodyguard was only ever ridden by boys before, but we bonded very quickly. The plan is to ride him at the European Championships as well. He just has more experience. But we will only decide that at short notice, ”said the 17-year-old.
