Peter Gmoser won the I on Sunday with Foreman MJ with 71.352 percent ahead of German Laura Strobel and High Motion (71.147), turning around the previous day's result.
Announced victories are the hardest. That is what they say in sports. Peter Gmoser announced his win with the impressive 10-year-old sport partner Foreman MJ on Saturday after finishing 2nd in the St. George of the Small Tour here at the CDI4* in Achleiten. "Because I believe in the quality of this horse," the rider from Burgenland smiled at the Inter I award ceremony.
What went better than in the 71.353 percent round the day before? "He didn't turn around," Gmoser joked. "Foreman can certainly run 3 to 4 percent more at the moment, but I risked less today, didn't ride the lines too closely. It was his first international show, and he is a late-maturing horse with a lot of basic potential because of his size. He needs time and should learn in a dignified way, so we will stay in the Small Tour for now."
Next appearance of the red-white-red power duo: in two weeks on the Three Star Tour as part of the World Cup tournament in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
